Big Screen Horror/Comedy (217th new thing).

December 8, 2011 § 3 Comments

Evil Dead 2 was playing at the Plaza Theater on Day Two Hundred Seventeen as part of their monthly Splatter Cinema series. I had seen the flick before, years ago, and was excited to watch it again, this time on the big screen.

It was a fantastic evening. We headed to the theater with a few friends and ended up seeing many more people we knew waiting to get in. Apparently the Plaza was the “it” place that night. How cool I felt.

Watching the horror/comedy projected forty feet high with two hundred other people was pretty amazing. Laughter bubbled up from the audience in big guffaws and I couldn’t help but enjoy myself. It truly was the best way to see the film.

Now it’s time to see Army of Darkness!
